Could Cannabis Be An Alternative Drug For Pain Relief During Child Birth?
If it were legal it would be a great alternative for pain relief. Most drugs can cause stress on the baby, especially during long labor. Marijuana hasn’t been know to cause any harm on a fetus at any part of a pregnancy. And whoever said that “real” women shouldn’t use pain relievers, good for you, you’re dumb enough to choose fifty hours of pain just so you can lord it over everybody else. Yay, whatever. That didn’t answer the question at all. I bet you spent hours bragging about it to everyone you could find no matter how badly they didn’t want to hear the details.

there are infact people who do use this method. Alot of times with midwives and at home deliveries. Its also suggested it helps with pregnancy overall.

I think anyone thinking of trying it, or the person that came up with the idea is simply put: “a pot head”, looking for any good reason to have a toke. There are already medecines to releive the pain… let it be!

How irresponsible. If this person is a real mom to be then they would forgo pain medication all together and have the child naturally.

Interesting idea. Actually, it’s not a pain-killer; it’s an analgesic and a sensory enhancer.
It may help, but it may also make it worse. Probably depends on the person, since nothing works the same with everyone.
Accupuncture works well, but I really don’t know about cannabis. However, I don’t think it would interfere with the baby, so that part, at least, is positive.
