Does Smoking Cannabis Have A (negative) Effect On Ritalin?

Hi,
I take ritalin, 60mg a day because I have ADHD. I also like to smoke cannabis sometimes, but I heared that it had a negative effect on the ritalin, so my question is, does it have a negative effect? If yes, does it also affect it when I’m not stoned or when I take ritalin after the stoned effect is gone?

  1. I’m on Vyvanse, so I might be a little off, but the other night, something kind of cool happened.
I hadn’t taken Vyvanse for like two days, and then I went to toke and it felt like I had zero tolerance.
    It was awesome.
So it if Ritalin’s anything like Vyvanse, it might mess with your THC high, but it won’t do anything to the effects of Ritalin.
Check erowid.org for peoples experiences with combining amphetamines with cannabis/ THC and you might find something.
