Help Watering Plants?
im going to be growing marijuana outside next spring and wanted to know how much water should i give them or none at all? just let nature take care of it? im growing 2 plants inside during the winter and im gona water one every day and one every other day to see, but your advice would help.
any tips at all for growing weed?
if you have exp growing tomatos i heard the two are comperable so how much water do they need?
btw marijuana is legal where i live and im well aware of the health hazards, so please dont pester me
thanks for your help!!

they like to dry out between watering’s… too much water will cause fungal problems… also, they like clear pots with plenty of drainage.. i used to use old ice cream pails with holes poked in them… also, if you are providing additional artificial lighting, add a fan blowing lightly … they don’t like to be too hot and they like the air flow
as for growing outside… yes, do provide them with additional water until their roots are established.. just like you would any other plant… after establishment, provide additional water during droughts
in a way they are like tomato’s.. only because they are heavy feeders… they like a lot of nitrogen… oh, they also love sheep manure mixed in with the potting soil
lucky you live in a place where ignorance doesn’t prevail and it’s legal… I’m working on it here
and as for the health hazards.. most of the so called hazards are bogus info

If you water them every day indoors or even every other day you’ll be likely to drown them and set in root rot, and they will die. Use your finger, stick it in the soil and if it is dry, water it. If it is damp, don’t. Don’t let them stand in water either, if you are using a tray uinder them, empty it when your plants have drained. They are similar to tomatoes in care, like sun (or grow lights). In the summer, water when it gets dry, soak them good about once a week unless it is really hot, then maybe twice a week. And soak them good, either use a drip system or let the hose run on them. If it rains regularly, you won’t need to do this.

yeah man where do you live? possibly you may look for a spot where the ground is already supporting vegitation well. outside ,if it is dry give them water the you will notice the leaves droop when the are low on water.. do not give too much plant food that will burn the plant. … plant inside use 50/50 perlite and potting soil mixture 10:3:1 that will dry quick and you will have to water often but it is good for the roots to do that. basic fish fertilizer is fine. do not make it too strong. do not over water the roots need to dry out or they may get root rot… not good. start with a small pot and transplant up a few times helps them to grow in size. if your leaves turn a bit yellow you may need food. do not over feed .do not damage the roots too much when transplanting.. lilly liller makes a food vf 11 if you find it it’s good. peters also makes good food. do use 0/10/10 when flowering do not use food with nitrogen in flowering or you’ll grow leaf . sorry idon’t know how to grow a tomatoe……
