How Can Cannabis Sativa Become A Better Fuel Source Than Corn?

Cannabis sativa is the oldest and most resourceful crop sown. In fact, sativa means “useful” in Latin. Industrial hemp could supply most of mankind’s fuel, fiber and food needs and will be the agent of transformation for our economy away from many toxic petrochemical products to nontoxic, agriculturally-based alternatives. Cannabis sativa produces more fuel, fiber and food per land area cultivated than any other plant. Cannabis has been purposely cultivated for over 12,000 years and all archeaologists agree it is among the first few crops purposely cultivated by humans, and could well be the first. Cannabis flowers produce a medicine, sacrament and social drug that mimics newly discovered neurotransmiters, or brain chemicals.

  1. The answer is, it can’t.
Cannabis Sativa is a strain of hemp that has far too many aromatic bioligicals to be a stable fuel.
    It has other uses.
Run of the mill hemp, not sativa, is a great source for biofuel, also excellent in the manufacture of fabrics and light plastics.

  5. Field corn used in ethenol is very easy to grow, does not require a lot of pesticides, fertilizer or irregation and sells real cheap. Plus you don’t have a whole lot of kids trying to yank it out of the ground thinking they can smoke it or knit handbags out of it or replace it with the real stuff and hope the farmer doesn’t notice that funny smell. So I think its going to be a tough sell. Just out of curiosity, why would you want to?
