How To Get Rid Of A House Guest Without Hurting Their Feelings?

I’m afraid he is growing marijuana or something out in the woods, but I am parinoid I guess. I just don’t understand why that helicopter keeps circling our place.

  1. I’m all for lending sofas [etc] to friends fallen on hard times, but this guy sounds more like animal than man and I don’t know that a one-name dude who craps in the woods is a great thing to have around a little kid full-time.
Why not just ask him if he has any warrants out etc? If he’s a ‘genuinely nice person’ he should understand getting the boot if the answer is yes.

  2. Hi!
I think you should know something more about your house guest aside from his last name, it’s your house after all. Your guest owes you that at least.Though based on your description of him, he sounds like he is also embarassed to be staying in your house, so why dont you suggest he stay somewhere else where he’ll be more comfortable in, like a hotel or something.
It’s ok to call the police and ask them about air traffic that’s been goin on , ask them if they are looking for someone, don’t hesitate to inform them about your suspicious guest, their the police so i think that’s ok.
    Good Luck!

  3. That’s a bit creepy…not the guy so much but the hellicopter.
I think though that since its your husbands friend (and since he helps around the ranch), hubs has gotta take this one. He needs to be nice, but firm, and let the guy know its time to move on.
You also might consider contacting the local police and letting them know this man is staying with you and ask if they can tell you whether he’s wanted for anything (warrants are usually public info so they should be able to tell you). And that way there is a record also that you didn’t know you were harboring a fugitive because if he’s in trouble you guys could get in trouble for keeping him (so just make it known that you didn’t know he was in trouble).
There should be someone you can contact also (not sure who…possibly just the police) and they should tell you why there is a helicopter circling your ranch.
    Whats the DEA??
The guy seems a bit off to me, idk. I mean, if we had someone staying with us it would make ME more uncomfortable if they slept on the living room floor than in the guest room. IDK, and going to the bathroom outside? Why can’t he just accept the help? He is helping you guys too afterall. Does he maybe have some mental issues?

  4. i wouldn’t have someone that i didn’t know well in my house, let alone when i was assleep and vulnerable…..i would see if he’s wanted and turn him in….if he’s not then i would tell him he has to leave your ‘property’ so if he is found on your land, he is a trespasser and can be arrested bc he has already been told to leave….

  5. I’m not sure what “burnt” and “jick” mean. Do you mean stoned?
What a wild scenario. I wouldn’t like that very much, either, and you shouldn’t have an upset home life like that–especially if you have a baby.
Yeah, maybe you should just find out if he is wanted for something. You don’t want to be a part of that. If he is wanted, they could try to charge you and your family for aiding/abetting/harboring. You could plead ignorance, but it would still be quite an ordeal trying to defend yourself.
You might have to go to court, and testify, and all that. If he is wanted and gets picked up… you might have to do that anyway at this point, since he’s been living with you.
