If A Man Does Any Kind Of Drug, Can It Be Tranferred Through Semen, And Affect A Childs Development In Thewomb?

Can a mans semen carry drugs that can affect a child growing in the womb?
I am curious about this.
What if the man did steroids? Or something like vicodin.
Or even marijuana?
Thoughts?

  1. The answer is that it can be transferred, but not in large enough volumes to matter to the child.

  2. The actual drug cannot be transferred to the child from the male. However, the man’s semen can decrease in quality due to drug use. If the woman uses substances during child birth, this can cause severe birth defects if not death for the fetus. The child may also be born with a chemical addiction.
