Is There Anywhere In The Usa You Can Legally Smoke Marijuana? What About Canada?
I have quit smoking weed and I firmly believe marijuana being illegal conflicts with the right to the pursuit of happiness. Where can I smoke my herbal in peace? I am totally willing to move… but not to Europe.

Although some states allow pot to be used, the federal government will still arrest you for it (even in California).

Cannabis is schedule II in Canada (for more than 3 kg). Canada’s cannabis control laws are spottily enforced, with the west coast (British Columbia) being well known for its high quality cannabis and low levels of enforcement. In 2002, Canada’s federal government made several findings in favor of cannabis legalization and medical use approval. Although the status of medical cannabis is still in flux (sep 2002), the Canadian government has several times voiced its intention to support full medical use. Non-viable Cannabis seeds and Cannabis stalks (that do not include leaves, flowers, seeds or branches) are exempted.
Busts in Canada continue, especially of larger growing and distribution operations.
In July 2000, an Ontario Court of Appeal ruled against the Canadian law because it did not address medical necessity and on July 31, 2001 a new regulation was enacted by the cabinet which addressed medical use. In January 2003, a lower Ontario court ruled simple possession laws banning cannabis unconstitutional, although it is unclear what the long term implications of this might be.

California, if you are willing to go to a doctor about some illness like PMS or cramps. I think you have to register yourself, so no running for public office/etc. There are other states where its legal for medicinal purposes, but they dont’ have the amount of doctors and clinics where you can openly buy it.
Canada recently reversed its policy on Marijuana, but I bet it is still more culturally acceptable and easier to obtain than in the US.

I’ve heard that you can have marijuana in Canada, but you cant smoke it, alot of people grow herb in Canada and Canadian herb is by far the best i’ve ever had. I live in California and i have friends who have marijuana licences, they go to a local “pharmacy” which is basically a weed store, which sells all different kinds of weed, brownies, THC candy, all kinds of stuff. It’s pretty easy to get a licence as far as I’ve heard. But Canada is a nice place too.

Burning one isn’t good for you, I fully agree on that, but vaporization and ingestion are virtually harmless.
