Legalize Marijuana Or Repeal Prohibition?
Personally, I prefer the latter because when people hear the “L-word” it evokes horrific images of Cannabis vending-machines alongside lockers in the halls of our nation’s schools, aggressive advertising campaigns targeting young people, every third driver on the highway with cotton-mouth and blood-shot eyes looking at everything but the road, and a surge in chemical dependence amongst the masses and so on. All these are myths fabricated by the people whose careers are dependent on the ever-growing bureaucratic, law-enforcement, and corrections infrastructure which has a 70-year track record of failure with no end in sight.
You have to understand that the United States has over 2.5 million people locked up now, with an additional 400,000 expected to be locked up within the next 5 years. The jobs of tens of thousands of prison guards, judges, bailiffs, attorneys, and police are at stake. All productive jobs have already been shipped to Indonesia and China, the only employment opportunities for our people now are with the Prison Based Economy. It is true that this kind of economics eventually destroyed the Soviet Union but they did not have Christ. We do. Maybe He will spare us the same fate.

I could really go off on this one, I won’t, I’ll just say this…Talk to someone who is dying of cancer and can’t eat or stand the pain. Or anyone who is dying of Aids or some other disease. Ask Montel Williams how he feels about it. I want it legal and controlled like any other medication. It can be done and it should be.
