Legalizing Cannabis In Canada: Couldn’t We Just Have A Referendum?
We had a referendum for the prohibition of alcohol in the past, why can’t we have a referendum for the prohibition of marijuana and other substances now? I’m pretty sure popular initiative referenda doesn’t happen in Canada, at least not on a federal level, but how would we go about changing that? C’mon Canadians, we need to stop being such timid conservatives and change a little.
Canadian or not, what’s your opinion?
And what’s gonna happen if a legalization measure is defeated? The stoners will still be smoking their hippie cabbage and complaining.
