Marijuana Does Not Kill – Why Do People Think It Does?

people have this idea that if you smoke weed, you will DIE. they make it seem as though smoking a pack of cigarettes then drinking a whole fifth to yourself is no where even close to taking one hit of weed
Weed is an Herb, it can be used in food, its just a plant it grows. All the money your tax dollars go to paying for people in jail for non violent offenses just for having a little plant, and all the money our country spends on abolishing it when its never gonna go away
Marijauana should be legalized, and all you religious freaks should try it once before you say anything about it.
If you have never smoked hemp before then you Have absolutely no say whatso ever about it, i want to hear peoples opinions on those who have quit or are doing it right now
Im from SF, best weed in the world basically

  1. Actually, TX has the best herb, but this doesn’t have anything to do with your question, so…
Here’s some history for you. Did you know that marijuana once upon a time was NOT illegal? Well, obviously, of course since it is now illegal, therefore it once had to have been not illegal (or have legalities stamped to it).
True history, y’all: cannabis, hemp, all of whichever name of your choosing, was brought over from the native African continent. Native Indians had theirs as well, along with peyote.
When the workers (shan’t use the word slave, although it’s more accurate) were allowed time to commune, either in celebration or passage of rights or religious (Yes, religious!) they would have their festivals. Not going into deeper than I am now details, they smoked their herbs.
The European owners decided to partake in this, saw (felt) it was good, passed it on to their “comrades”, and all was good. As with most atrocities in history (not a woman-hater, mind you), the European women got very lose and euphoric after consuming elixirs and ingesting cannabis (hell, who doesn’t?).
(Okay, I’m about to get loose with this editorial, but it is documented truth…ever heard of Rosewood?)
White woman got drunk & high, decided to get that Mandingo that she’d been wanting (big, strapping, buff, bronze/black statue). Mandingo was “krunked” and wanted to get him a piece of that hot cotton.
When the Europeans found out that the workers had “violated” their precious women, they searched to find out how to “control” these occurrences (other than the known “norm”). Since most of the male Europeans did not partake in smoking “rope”, there wasn’t a lot of opposition when the territories made it “illegal” to consume it.
In short, slave owners made it illegal since the natives and the slaves used it & enjoyed themselves (and others) while under the influence of the herb.
