Should Cannabis Be Allowed To Be Grown At Home?

Do you think it would be ok to allow people to grow their own cannabis at home for personal use?
If so should the government have the ability to tax it?

  1. it should be allowed but within reason – rooms full of hydroponic set-ups and massive crops are obviously over the top and shouldn’t be allowed if you can grow your own…
No it should not be taxed. We pay tax on carrots we buy at the shop but if we grow them, we don’t… should be the same for anything that is grown..

  2. Cannibis is a plant that occurs naturally, it is not up to the government to decide wether it is legal for it to grow in any place, it is up to nature. Frankly I think there is too much hype about cannibis anyway, it’s a drug sure, but so is alcohol and they sell that down at the local 24/7 in addition to making the materials required to ferment and distill it freely available. The only reason cannabis isn’t legal is because the government has it’s panties in a twist about how it can’t make money off it somehow. This is one of the things that has tipped me off to the government being a complete and utter farce.

  3. Sure, I think as long as you’re not hurting other people you ought to have the privacy to do what you want in your own home. And I don’t think the government ought to be able to tax houseplants. However, I think if the government ever legalized medical and/or recreational marijuana it would be taxed when sold.
My thought on this has always been, legalize, regulate, and tax.

  4. Okay CRACK is deadly. Marijuana isnt. If it were it would not be legal for MILLIONS in California for medical reasons as long as you have a prescription for it.
Crack, Meth, Cocaine is messed with so much to make more money and you never know what your getting.
Yes! Cannabis should be legalized. It would stop us spend so much tax money on jail, courts, and prison.
Should it be grown at home YES it is safer than buying a pack of cigarettes at the local gas station.

  5. If you grow it yourself I dont believe it should be able to be taxed, just like if you were growing tobacco in your back yard. But I think that it should be legalized and that then if you were to go to the store and buy it, then it should be taxed.

  6. Yeah absolutely people should be allowed to grow it themselves.
If the government wants to tax it however, they need to make it legal to buy and sell the stuff.
