MMJ Spots

Picked up a sample of Bubble Gum from SCI during their special on 4/20. The budtender showed mad love as always and weighed my bag heavy. Very generous and compassionate spot. I had last tried this strain on a trip to Amsterdam — I read somewhere that this is a F1 hybrid of indica origin.

The buds were huge! Orange-rust colored hairs, buds and small leaves covered in swollen white crystals. Kind-of leafy, but nearly every bit of the leaf is crystal-coated, so it’s more than okay for the price.

The buds have a light, spongy consistency. They were easy to break-down but left very sticky fingers. The outside is crackly and brittle, but inside it is a resinous-sticky wonder. The broken-down bud had a strong scent of pine as well as lemon/lime, there was a hint of skunk and freshly fallen leaves.

The smoke is light and aromatic. It is so amazing how you really get a bubblegum taste when you smoke this strain. I am sure there are other flavors in there, but the bubblegum flavor is so pronounced, why bother looking for anything else. Kind-of an earthy aftertaste which is a nice compliment to the bubble gum in some way. Did I enjoy dropping my Bazooka on the playground?  NO! This tastes way better than that any-day!!

Instant onset pain relief – 1 to 2 hits in my water pipe. Medium duration effectiveness from .3 g dose. Big-time headiness to the effect, which is very nice in combination with the heavy numbing pain relief. I have the feeling of heavy extremities, and a lethargic couch-lock. Movement is awkward and I need to stay put, but way to heady to be a sleep med for me.
