Can I Become A Driving Instructor With A Narcotics Felony?

i want to become a driving instructor in the state of california but i have a felony record i know that in order to become a driving instructor you have to pass a california DMV background check but i’m not quite sure if my felony can pass the background check. the discription of my felony is that two years ago i crossed the us border with 75 kilos of marihuana and ended up getting caught by a sniffing k-9. i wasn’t going to sell it or smoke it. just cross it over and get paid for it, i know, it was really stupid i wasn’t thinking, i was young, blah, blah, blah.i was 18 at the age i am now 20 (i know you have to be 21 in order to become a driving instructor) i’m about to turn 21 next month by the way. that’s the only felony i have on my record i have a clean driving record and a GED so those are the good things.
so my question is, can i become a driving instructor with this type of felony?

I live in Florida and over 20 grams is a felony. Even though 20 is more then enough for personal use I still think this is pretty small to be convicted felon? How much marijuana should be felony posession in your state or whats your opinion?

Just curious say a candidate had a felony that was non violent let’s say it was for growing marijuana. Would you vote for a felon if you didn’t think there crime was horrible, and they shared your political beliefs?

I am applying for a position as a Probation Counselor for Contra Costa County. My felony conviction is for growing and cultivating marijuana and with intent for sales. I understand I must lists and explain the charges, but are there guidelines are rules that will automatically disqualify me? PLEASE HELP I need to know before I sign up for classes.

If there’s nothing else found…no paraphanelia or anything else—nothing bagged up, no guns no nothing….but plants. How many is a felony or what would happen? What if they’re small and don’t even have THC in it yet cuz they’re so small? Umm, a friend was wondering ha ha.
