hi,
i suffer form chronic pain…and after 4 years on really strong pain relief it stopped working and now cannabis is my only option. It works for me but not for everyone.
also have you tried a tens machine…many people with cp get relief from them but it drove my condition mad.

I have heard of studies where people afflicted with Bi-Polar disorder were helped with their mood shifts by using medicinal cannabis… and that I am happy for instead of all the man made drugs with adverse/ possibly life threatening side effects.
I would have to expand that to physical attributes medically as well…
I have an Uncle and cousin who are overwhelmed with Tourettes disorder, and they each self medicate with cannabis,and you can certainly tell, other than red eyes and hunger, that the effects are positive with their ‘ticks’ not being as noticeable, and the relaxing of their muscles makes them more in control in handling objects that those without Tourettes take for granted.
I do not use cannabis, but I support the medical benefits derived from it.
Recreational use leaves me wary to support, because as with all things, there is a down side of those who use it as an excuse to not be employed due to restrictions of urinalysis. Although legalizing it would become a means of income for them in sales. I sincerely doubt that will ever happen, because everyone would want to earn an income that way!

Ok, so I like smoking pot but due to the career I’ve chosen, I can not use any illegal substance (nor have I been able to do so in many years). I’d like to know if there is a legal substance out there that gives you the similar effect of smoking marijuana. Please Do Not tell me saliva. I have tried saliva and #1- it does not give you marijuana euphoria, and #2- it freaked me out and made me tense.
