I’ve smoked both, but i want to pick one of them to kick…and id much rather kick the one that’s doing more harm to my health. I hear marijuana is much better for you but i just want to get some advice from people who really know what they’re talking about. I want an unbiased medical answer please.

I got into a debate with someone who is prescribed klonopin among other pharmaceuticals drugs (i think another is zyprexa). Anyway – I’m thinking that for anxiety if I smoke marijuana it is actually better than taking pharmaceuticals. What do you think?

Complex answer. The short term effects will probably alleviate most of your anxiety symptoms, but ongoing use will enhance the problem. On top of this, smoking of the cannabis is most likely not going to fix the cause of the stress.

Personally, I think alchohol has a worse effect physically, socially and economically on society than cannabis.
Practically all of my friends and family drink and/or smoke tobacco, but most would insist they are ANTI-DRUGS…!?!?!!!
And I know a lot of people agree with them…
I CAN’T FOR THE LIFE OF ME UNDERSTAND THIS!!!
Especially when they look down their noses at people who use ‘harder’ drugs, and at the unfortunate ones who are addicted to whatever substance they use…
What they don’t seem to understand is that they are drug users to, and a lot of them are addicts… A lot of them are addicted to cigarettes, and would probably have a hard time giving up alchohol… They’re such HYPOCRITES!!!
Anyway, rant over, what do you think?
I’d like to say that I don’t use any drugs, drinking and smoking included (well, obviously apart from medicinal drugs prescribed by a doctor if I’m ill, and seriously need them ;0 )
