Just look to California Senate Bill 420. Marijuana is legal to purchase and grow in the state as long as it meets the need of someone requiring it for medical purposes. Now, it also helps the state via taxes with its massive debt. It would be quite the day when the US as a whole pays off its debt through marijuana tax, no? Perhaps this is the “green” economy we keep hearing about.

First go to Congress and have a Congressman submit and file a bill that legalizes the possession, purchase, sale, distribution and consumption of it in or in connection with commerce of the United States, notwithstanding any other provision of law.
Second, vigorously push it through whatever committee its assigned to.
Third, convince the floor to support the bill with a majority vote.
Fourth, have the Senate push a similar bill through on its side, and work out a compromise.
Fifth, get the president to sign it into law effective immediately.
Then you can blaze up a J and enjoy a legal high.
