What Do Most Police Officers Think Of Marijuana Use?
I am just curious what the general consensus (if there is one) among law enforcement is about marijuana use. Do you guys detest it? Do you see it as relatively harmless? Please give me your individual and anonymous opinions.

In my experience its not a priority.
The vast majority of folks who are ticketed or arrested for weed, would have been ticketed or arrested even if weed was treated the same way as alcohol (ie underage consumption, open air consumption in a public place, smoking while driving etc) and as an add on charge to other illegal activity.
The problem is that potheads aren’t typically smart enough to smoke in their own residence where they are affecting no one, and thus not an issue for us.
That said, I have more problems with drunks and meth. No potheads have ever tried to fight me.

Opinions do not matter. Police officers can not decide which laws to enforce and which to ignore. If you do the crime, you do the time.

ROTFLMFAO.
Autonomy here hahaha.
Personally, what ever the laws allow.
I think it should be sold as a cigarette packed and marketed to eliminate the criminal element.

I am not a police officer myself but from my research it seems that most of them are fed up with the current “war on drugs” and they feel that they should spend their time better by catching the real criminals.
