Well any loam soil will work, but for best results use potting soil. Marijuana plants are magnets for pests, and unless you sterilize the soil, the chances of catching pests such as spider mites etc. will be much greater.
Therefore dont skimp on the soil, use potting soil instead. Id use a mixture af Eco-grow an Miracle-grow.
