Will The Uk Gov. Decision To Upgrade Cannabis Again To Class B Have Any Effect ?
prohibition isn’t working as there is an estimated 5million too 10million users in the UK, so wont the Gov. decision just criminalise a large proportion of otherwise law abiding citizens.

I find this really frustrating but I’ve come to think that all this upgrading and downgrading (in regarsd to Cannabis at least) does is make people think about the issue and they end up learning more.
Some people will lalways be narrowminded and believe all the propaganda and lies in regards t othe terrible harm cannabis supposedly does. But those who choose to learn more about the issue will learn that it helps a whole range of illnesses, is a fantastic alternative to prescribed pain releif medication and helps PMT symtoms.
I know people who have bad or paranoid experiences with the drug but they simply don’t use it again. For most users the upgrading will have zero effect. It does not in the slightest send a message out to the youth or anyone else. As though 16 years olds consider the law or the classification of cannabis when trying it.
However, the sad reality is the people who will be affected are policemen who will have to waste time criminalising people and having lots of paperwork and a small number of people who get caught. Past evidence shows that such laws can be abused within the system to target minorities.
It’s a sad and pathetic state of affairs.
